Our Mission Statement

Miss Kitty Poppins is grounded in the conviction that all cats are royalty and should be treated as such. Each kitty has a unique personality with their own little quirks. It's not enough to scoop litter boxes and plop food into a dish—it’s about spending quality time with each kitty, earning their trust and developing a life-long bond.

Leslie

Founder

Miss Kitty Poppins is a cat-centric service provider based in Menlo Park, California. Shortly after moving to Silicon valley, Leslie noticed an urgent need for reliable, quality cat care and established MKP in December of 2017. Her clientele represent many Bay Area cat lovers from all walks of life, including ultra-high-net-worth and high-profile individuals with demanding lifestyles. Leslie's approach is proactive, discrete, and empathetic. She has built long-term relationships with her clients and word of mouth recommendations are the cornerstone of her continued success.

Born and raised in Southern California, she has lived with animals of all kinds—rescued wild birds and skunks, to koi fish, bunnies and dogs. The love of felines reigns supreme. Leslie's time is divided between cat care, travel, and her career as a professional illustrator. She has two precious kitties of her own—Meena (an all black sweetheart) and Twinkle (a sassy Tabby queen). She is a member of Professional United Pet Sitters (PUPS), Pet Sitters Associates, insured and bonded.

Marina—B-MKP

Marina

Assistant

Marina is an on-call assistant at Miss Kitty Poppins and is the definition of a cat lover! She has always appreciated the uniqueness of cats and feels they don't get the recognition they deserve. The first kitty she ever encountered was a kitten that her parents brought home 6 months before she was born. Currently, she has 2 sweet male kitties of her own—George (named after Curious George, and just as curious!) and Theodore (aka Teddy, a huge snack addict) who are both cuddle bugs and the loves of Marina’s life.

With her BS in Animal Science from UC Davis and as a RVT (Registered Vet Tech), she has worked with many animals since graduation in 2020. She volunteered at San Jose Animal Shelter, and has worked at many dog and cat clinics in the area. Most recently, she has cared for exotics, including birds, reptiles, and pocket pets.

Marina was born in Redwood City, raised in Fremont, and has lived in Menlo Park since 2019. She has lots of experience looking after the kitties of family and friends and is looking foward to caring for your kitties as if they were her very own. She will always be an advocate for their health and well-being.
