Leslie
Founder
After moving to Menlo Park, Leslie (originally from Garden Grove, California) founded Miss Kitty Poppins in December 2017 to provide high-quality, trustworthy feline care. With nearly a decade of experience across the South Bay, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley, she offers a rare combination of consistency, emotional intelligence, and observational attentiveness tailored to each household's unique rhythm.
Leslie has held long-term, high-trust roles within private residences, including twice-daily care for a Silicon Valley executive’s senior cats (under NDA). She works seamlessly with estate managers, assistants, and veterinary teams to ensure each cat’s medical and emotional needs are met with precision. While not a licensed vet tech, her specialty lies in detailed, compassionate support, especially for aging or medically fragile cats.
She is fully insured, bonded, and a proud member of Pet Sitters Associates and PUPS. Leslie operates with complete confidentiality and grace under pressure. She is also a professional illustrator who began the Cat of the Month Club™. Each month brings a new hand-drawn cat portrait, available on collectible coasters and tees. At home she’s a devoted cat mom to Ada and dreams of growing MKP into a global community that honors cats and the people who love them.

Marina
Former On-Call Assistant
Marina is the on‑call assistant at Miss Kitty Poppins and a devoted feline advocate. From the moment her parents welcomed a kitten into their home before she was born, she’s understood that every cat has a story—and deserves personalized care and recognition.
She holds a B.S. in Animal Science from UC Davis and credentials as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and has been serving animals of all kinds since 2020. Her hands‑on experience spans volunteer work at the San Jose Animal Shelter, positions in local dog and cat clinics, and most recently, specialized care for exotic species—birds, reptiles, and pocket pets alike.
Originally from Redwood City and raised in Fremont, she’s called Menlo Park home since 2019. As part of our feline concierge team, she brings professionalism, compassion, and meticulous attention to every visit. She has two sweet boy kitties of her own—George (named after Curious George and just as curious!) and Theodore (aka Teddy, a snack enthusiast)—both are cuddle bugs and the loves of her life. She looks forward to treating your kitties with the same warmth, discretion, and loyalty they deserve.
