A Step by step guide
Initial Introduction
We begin with a personal introduction—an opportunity to learn more about your cat’s unique personality, preferences, and daily rhythm. This conversation ensures we’re a good fit and allows us to begin tailoring care to your household’s specific needs.
In-Home Consultation
An in-person consultation will be scheduled at your convenience. During this visit, we’ll review your cat’s routine, walk through the home care essentials, and discuss any specific concerns or requests. This is also a time to ensure your cat feels comfortable with our presence.
Client Agreement & Profile
A Pet Care Agreement will be provided for all new clients. This document outlines service expectations, emergency contacts, veterinary information, and relevant medical history. You may complete and return it electronically or in person at your convenience.
Confidentiality & NDA
If required, a Non-Disclosure Agreement will be reviewed, signed, and returned prior to our first visit. Discretion and trust are central to all that we do. Please visit the Private Client Portal for more information and rates.
Billing & Invoicing
Invoices are sent via email in advance of service start dates. Payment terms and preferred methods will be outlined clearly for your convenience.
Service Area
Primary service areas include Menlo Park, Atherton, Redwood City, and Palo Alto. Requests outside of this area are considered on a case-by-case basis. We’ll do our best to accommodate your household whenever possible—please reach out directly for availability.
Care packages & rates
Concierge Fees
All payments are due in full by the first day of service unless otherwise arranged. Accepted forms of payment include Venmo, Apple Pay, cash, and personal checks. Ongoing or extended care may be invoiced through bill.com or other platforms upon request. Additional time or services may be billed separately, if applicable.
Standard Visits
$55 per 30-minute visit
$100 per 60-minute visit
Holiday Surcharge
$25 per day for federal and major U.S. holidays
Additional Cats
$25 per day for each additional cat (applies to households with more than two cats)
Overnight Stay
$200 per overnight stay
Key Handling
Initial key pickup is complimentary. Keys may be securely retained for future bookings or returned at your preference.
Extended Travel & Out-of-Area Rates
Service beyond the Menlo Park, Atherton, Redwood City, and Palo Alto areas is considered on a case-by-case basis. Travel surcharges typically range from $25–$50 per day, depending on location.
Cancellations
While cancellation fees are not charged, we kindly request at least 48 hours' notice whenever possible.
Visit timing & house protocols
Scheduling is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority is given to clients with ongoing care needs, including daily or weekly check-ins. Holiday bookings are in especially high demand and tend to fill quickly—advance planning is always appreciated.
Visit windows are as follows:
Morning Visits 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Midday Visits 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Evening Visits 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
To support consistency and reduce stress for your cat(s), all visits must occur on consecutive days. This ensures the highest level of care, comfort, and emotional wellbeing.
For safety reasons, we kindly request that no visitors are present during scheduled services.
Cats must remain indoors during care. Exceptions may be made for those with enclosed outdoor spaces (such as a catio) or cats trained to walk on a harness. In these cases, written consent (via text, email, or note) is required in advance.

For Your Cat
• Daily fresh food and water
• Litter box cleaning and area upkeep
• Playtime, scratchies, brushing, cuddles, and presence—as your cat allows
• Administration of oral/topical medications, and/or injections (including subcutaneous)
• Gentle photo updates (we love a good feline portrait)
• Occasional text or email check-ins to keep you connected
• Calming music and environmental comfort
• Nail trims and waterless foam baths (if your cat is receptive)
• Transportation to and from veterinary appointments (hourly fee applies)
For You
• Indoor and outdoor plant care
• Trash bins placed out and returned
• Mail, package, and newspaper collection
• Overseeing scheduled services within your home
• Light tidying throughout your time away
• Clear, respectful communication with your household team and veterinarian as needed
